Music Video Second Draft
Here is the second draft of my music video. I have added some more scenes and effects to the video and although I have managed my footage to last the whole time of the video, there is much more footage that I aim to film and add to my video. I am not pleased with this result as i had limited time for me to construct the video as my deadline was a week before everyone else, due to me going on the New York media trip. Therefore if I had more time, I would of adapted the order of my footage to fit the song better and would of added a lot more special effects and filters to my work. Therefore there are many improvements to be made to this.

Filming Diary - Day Two
Today I plan to go into the green room and film my actress in close up scenes and different footage in the green room. I then went to Ben and booked out a tripod, along with bringing my camera to college. I arranged with my actress what I wanted her to bring with her to college the day before and text her to remind her.
I met my actress at the allocated time of 11.30, as we both had free periods then, and it was conventiently the period before lunch time, thus if we ended up running over schedule, we could continue fiming. Once we met up, we went straight to the green room, and whilst my actress adjusted her appearance to how I had asked her for the video, I set up the equipment and lighting in the green room, to how I wanted it for my video.
Here is an image I took of the green room once I had finished organising it. I began with hanging up the black back-drop to the wall, as I aimed for these scenes to be dark and felt this would appear most effective in contrast with the lighting. Then I arranged all of the lighting to the position and angle's which I wanted, so that I could create the silhouette of the model as effectively as possible. In addition to this, I manipulated the brightness of them so that they would accentuate my model to the best quality. This was very important as these shots rely very heavily on the lighting and if I had not set them up right, they could jeapordise my work.
Complications:
As these shots entailed my model to take her top off, to create the effect that she looked naked, we had to take many precautions so that nobody would walk into the room whilst we were filming, as this would not only disrupt the production of the video, but violate the privacy of my model and could cause her discomfort. However, the door in the green room does not lock and there is a window, so we created a note on the door asking for no to come in, then we had to creatively attatch a large poster to the window, so that nobody could see in. Although in the end this worked and nobody disrupted us, the construction took up some time and we ended up behind filming scehdule.
However, we still managed to get all of the shots that I had planned filmed, and I am very happy with the quality of the shots we filmed on this day. They are better than I expected them to be and are exactly as I had envisioned and had created on my storyboard.

My Own Audience Profile
The audience profile for the indie music genre is stereotyped as 'indie' style and out there music and style. The genre is portrayed as unique and a mixed range. The people who listen to this music will also have an indie style and prefer music and artists who are more unique and are less popular than main stream music. I believe that the things I have included to my audience profile collage are things that my target audience would be interested in.

Demographics
It is important that I know the demographics of my target audience, so that I can produce and market to my specific target audience, so my products will appeal especially to them and becomes more accessible to them.
There are different factors depending on the group of my target audience, and one of the most important factors is the price of the product. The price of the product will change depending on the status and social class of the audience group; such as students of lower/working class will not be able to afford an expensive album, unlike people of middle class; thus I need to make sure that I price my album to suit my specific target audience ad that the quality of my products will also be realistic of that price. As more expensive products are of higher quality compared to cheaper, and this will make my products appear legitimate.
Here is a demographic table displaying the different social class grades:

After researching and studying the table, I have decided that the target audience for my products will most likely be students, as the age group of my products is around 16-25 years olds. Therefore they will fall into the category of 'Casual/Lowest Grade Workers' category. So I must insure that I cater for this target audience with my products.
Thus regarding my audience social group, I will ensure my products will appeal and be suitable for the audience by making them cheap in price (although my video will be accessible on YouTube anyway which is free).
By publishing my video on YouTube, this will also appeal to the audience as it is easy access and many people of that age group access social media regularly, therefore it will attract my audience.

Inspiration for Day Three filming
With the shots that I had imagined creating on my storyboard of the close-ups and of my actress lip-synching, I had gained inspiration from some various other music videos.
Back when I was researching for my music video, I came across the music video 'Nothing compares 2U' by Sinead O'Connor.
I was captivated by the continuous close up shot of the singer singing and crying, as I feel it conveys the powerful emotion of the lyrics and creates the simple music video to appear beautiful and it stands out against other music videos. I aim to convey the simplicity of the artist crying and lip-syncing with the basic colours and extreme close up shot in my own music video.

Shooting Organisation
I live close by to my actress therefore it shall be easy for us to arrange dates for meeting up and filming. I am connected her across social media and also have her phone number, so it easy for me to access her and contact her. The following screenshot is an example of how we arranged to meet up for our first day of filming.
...
My aim is to film several scenes at least one time a week so that I have plenty of time before the deadline to film and I will not be rushed. Furthermore, by leaving plenty of time with filming, I can revisit any footage that I am displeased with or if I decided to add some extra scenes to my video that were not originally planned on my storyboard.

Inspiration For Day Two Filming
Prior to filming with my actress in teh green room, I reseached music videos to gain inspiration and came across the music video 'Chocolate' by The 1975.
I took inspiration in the lighting and cinematography in this video, especially in certain scenes which gave me an idea of how I wanted to manipulate my own shots that I had planned to film similar to this.

In the above shots I found the sue of lighting unique and appealing, as the silhouette's of the artists highlights not only their music style but the whole indie genre and the simplicity with the black and white filter is what I am aiming to achieve in my own video. Thus I aim to recreate some of my footage to be similar to this.
